Last year we competed in a web version of The Biggest Loser and all we lost was our dignity. So now I am going it alone, trying Body for Life, which involves two things I have never done – lifting weights and running. I have no idea how I will do but I’m determined to do the exercises every day for 12 weeks. We’ll visit in a month to see how it’s going, but here are the painful beginnings.

A good JATH friend Michael Patterson, an up-and-coming film composer, has yet another score in a film that’s made it to Sundance. The film is called Half-Life. Of course, we knew Mike before he was big time, and we used him for our own selfish purposes.
