I have longed looked for a few movies I saw in grade school that made a big impact on me. One of them is now on these After School Specials DVD. The other is not, but I describe it just in case someone knows where a copy might be. They don’t make movies like these any more, which is a shame because I know they were good for kids to see. They not only killed some time in school but they taught valuable lessons … in very strange ways.

It’s been a while since we did a DVD Breakdown, so we figured it was time to start doing them again. We review only the extras on DVDs, not the movie itself. If after watching you wonder why we gave it such high marks, remember that in the jath world more is always better, and this special edition of “Field of Dreams” has a ton.
